We placed the Schurr brush in our heifer group. There is often a line of heifers waiting for their turn to use the brush. We enjoy how clean they are. We are very pleased with our purchase and hope to add brushes for our other cow groups.

New feedback from a customer in Montana -
thanks so much Lenard for this we appreciate it!
Here in Montana we have -20 in winter and 100 + in summer so we house our cows inside a free stall barn due to severe temp one way or the other and inside that barn we have conveyer feeding and decent air moving so all the fine particles seem to float onto the cows back so yes most of our cows were covered in the summer months with itchy feed and dust.
Solution was a cow brush but question was what kind of brush will hold up for many many years without having to be baby sat all the time as dairymen have to baby sit cows no time for brushes a little bit of online research showed us that there are quite a few different motorized brushes out on the market some looking to be complicated others looking that they would not hold up very well while some of them looked impossible to brush cows back and still do a good job in the sides or verse visa
Than it happened schurr cow brush looked like it could do all of the above and then some but as most dairymen are I am the same way what do they cost as expected they weren't the cheapest but they did look like they would do all of the above and boy was I right one month later my cows were 90 percent cleaner and SCC dropped 30,000 production rose a whipping 2lbs and six months later we haven't touched the brush if you are out looking to improve cow health and your bottom line with cow brushes schurr will do both

We have 130 holsteins in a free stall barn with sand bedding. Our cows love the Schurr Cow Brush. It has saved us lots of time, especially during the winter months brushing off old thick hair and sand dust. In the summer months after the cows have been under the sprinkler system, and then use the Schurr Cow Brush they look spectacular. Our cows are cleaner and healthier. There is always a cow waiting to use the brush. Milking those "clean" cows is a tremendous plus for our employees. We also believe that it has reduced our Somatic Cell Count as well. We highly recommend the Schurr Cow Brush and are considering purchasing another to satisfy our cows.
